Of course I had to say something... Adriana had a fever the last day or so, but she seems to be doing better now.
The rest of the family went with the team to an orphanage and school. Our favorite time was when we divided the kids into small groups and spent time getting to know them. Lisa and Alexie held and played with preschoolers for the afternoon. One little girl (3 years old) held Lisa the entire time. People commented on how much she was soaking up Lisa's love. Alexie spent most of her time with 4 year old twin girls, Serena and Mokie. Annalise just mixed in and played with the kids. We have some pictures that we will post in the near future.
Alayna and I spent time with the 5th and 6th graders. We played some games and answered questions, but my favorite time was on the walk back to the Jeepney. The girls were just like mine; question after question after question. We had had a difficult time getting them to speak during the class, but afterwards we had a great time talking with them.
This afternoon the group is scheduled to visit another orphanage.
God bless you all...

I hope Adriana is feeling better!
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone!
ReplyDeleteI was able to talk to Ann a little bit at Awana last night and told her how envious I was of all the things she got to do while she was at YWAM! We always ask each other if they have heard any more than the blog. We all are awaiting your return. Joe always prays at our evening meal for safe travel for all of you, to which I respond are they on the move again? Then he says he just in case, we are never sure what time it is there!
Give everyone a hug.
Love to all.
