Tea Time with Shakespeare

One of the additions to our school this year our girls especially enjoy is "Tea Time." We gather in the afternoon for a treat and sometimes even a spot of tea. Each day, there is a different theme to our time. This is when we do our composer study, folk songs, artist study, and Shakespeare.

Methinks thou would not wist me fair damsels as their speech has been quite transformed after their afternoons with Shakespeare. We began with A Midsummer Night's Dream. We read both the story in Tales from Shakespeare and the original play. This week Thomas and I got front row seats as the girls put on their own mini-production of their favorite scenes called "A Fairy's World."
