Accents

Last night at The Rising, a couple shared about their upcoming transition to Sudan. It is so inspiring to see people from all over the world who are interested in serving others. I was chuckling to see Eddie, a Brazilian who's native language is Portuguese, reading from the Bible and sharing in English to an audience that has a high percentage of Koreans - try to sort out all of those accents. But what a fantastic experience for all of us.

Today we had a meeting to talk more about our upcoming trip to the Philippines. We discussed immunizations, packing lists, and ministry ideas. It was good to have all of the kids in the meeting with us. Our leadership emphasized that they encourage the kids to be prepared to share their testimony as well. We love how the kids are included in the process and the ministry.

May the Lord bless each of you,
Tom
