Prayer and Packing

This morning our friend Fred made arrangements to take our family to the Vineyard. (Our van is traveling home with Grandma and Grandpa and you don't just throw an extra six people into most vehicles.) It was an exciting morning. They just moved into their new building. We had been attending there all summer. So it was great that it worked out for us to see it before we left. At the conclusion of the service they prayed for Fred, his wife Carol, our family, and Wes, another YWAMer who will be traveling to the Philippines with us.

Much of the rest of the day was spent packing. Most of the hard work was done before Mom and Dad took the van. We sent a lot of stuff back home with them. But there still was a little decision making to do. Now we just need to wait until we do a bit more laundry on Tuesday morning.

Below is a list of our team. Please keep us in prayer as we head into our last days of preparation. (CDTS - Crossroads Discipleship Training School; COD - Children of Destiny)

  1. Tom,
Praying for a safe and bold trip for your family and team. I have been trying to catch up on all your blog posts....you do a good job of staying current unlike me!!
I cannot get to your gmail either from work or home. I have used Yahoo and Google and it won't get me there. I will keep trying and solicit some help.
QVEP officially starts tomorrow. Wish us luck. Are you sure you don't want to do one more outage???
I'll look forward to reading about your experience. God bless and keep you close!!
    Shari

  2. I sent you an email at your work address. You may be able to respond from there. Milt often gets his mail from me in another folder. If you don't see it right away, try asking him where his go.
